This Privacy Policy describes how the Random Username Generator browser extension ("the Extension"), published by Jackson Square Company, handles information. The short version: the Extension collects no data of any kind. This policy explains that in detail and applies only to the Extension, not to our website or any other products.

We collect no information. Specifically, the Extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share:

All functionality runs locally inside the browser popup. The word lists, username templates, and platform format rules are bundled inside the Extension itself. Generating usernames is a random combination performed on your device, and platform format checks (character limits and allowed characters) are computed locally against built-in rules. The Extension makes no network requests, functions fully offline, and does not check username availability on any external service.

4. Your Inputs and Generated Usernames

Any word you type into the optional input field, your theme and platform selections, and the usernames generated are held in temporary memory only. They are erased when the popup closes and are never written to disk, synchronized, or transmitted anywhere.

5. Permissions

The Extension requests zero browser permissions. It cannot read the pages you visit, your tabs, your bookmarks, or your clipboard beyond the copy action you explicitly trigger, which uses the browser's standard clipboard function and sends nothing to us.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The Extension contains no cookies, no analytics or telemetry, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party code that receives user data.

7. Third Parties

We share no data with third parties because no data exists to share. The Extension embeds no third-party services.
